I think Matt Hardy should have signed with TNA instead of the WWE. I think if he had signed with TNA he would have been pushed into a top spot. Maybe won a few titles. Headlined Pay Per Views and who knows what else. Then, maybe after a few years he would have come back to the WWE, been given a spot on the flag ship program. Maybe wrestle the Champ in his first match back and be wrestling for the Intercontinental Championship at a Pay Per View. But instead he’s buried on the Smackdown Brand, putting over guys with less experience than him and he can’t even get a title shot against US Champ Kennedy, and Matt was the first man to pin Mr. Kennedy (the only big thing he done since leaving Raw).

It makes me sick to read the results from any Smackdown Show. Whenever the biggest pops are listed Matt Hardy is in the top 5. What is Hardy doing wrong? He is so over. The fans love this guy. Why can’t he get a push?

We all know Matt would be in a top spot in TNA. He would be headlining Pay Per Views, but instead, we almost never see him on a Pay Per View. If the WWE creative team would get behind him I sure they could sell more merchandise and the ratings on Smackdown would go up. Why don’t they see this? It is so obvious! Buy these are the same people that took John Cena from Smackdown to Raw and had him spot rapping and then scratch there head and ask, “Why are the fans booing Cena?” The answer is simple moron: Cena didn’t get over until he got the rapper gimmick. People cheered him because they liked his raps. If he doesn’t rap, he’s not over. Don’t forget who (or what) brought you to the dance in the first place.

So here’s my prediction for Unforgiven: Cena Wins. Why? Because his movie is coming out and they need to push him to push the movie. But I would like to see him go to Smackdown. They could use the help with the ratings and it would make for several interesting situations. Besides, Raw doesn’t really need him. Some upper mid-carders on the Smackdown roster are ready to be moved to Raw to make room for some new up and coming talent so don’t be surprised to see Kennedy, Finley and or Lashley be brought to the flagship program over the next 6 to 12 months.

Do you know why Smackdown is the brand that has the most up and coming talent? Because it’s taped and if the rookies screw up it can be edited out.

I agree with you 100% on the Hardy issue. He should've jumped ship to NWA-TNA, like Christian. Christian jumped and was the biggest thing in TNA til sting appeared(I still prefer Christian to Sting.)

The best thing about the WWE in theearly 2000s, to me, were the Rock, and the tag team fued between the hardyz and Edge and Christian. Matt was a better wrestler than Jeff by far, and better on the mic, and Christian had way more charisma(Still does) than Edge. The two of them on TNA would've been great.
